The D.C. Coalition Against Domestic Violence is seeking the following intern:
DCCADV Technology Intern (Unpaid)
DCCADV offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with extensive web design, HTML coding, database management, and social networking skills. The Technology intern will gain experience in website development and maintenance, database management and IT planning. S/he will assist with overall technology infrastructure and Web 2.0 strategy. Responsibilities include supporting staff in troubleshooting and problem management of desktops, servers, and office application issues. Routine tasks will include website updating, CSS editing, and may include graphic design projects. S/he will be responsible for assisting with the design and maintenance of DCCADV’s digital newsletter. The Technology intern will also be responsible for maintaining a dynamic Facebook page, increasing page and cause members.

Desired Skills:
- The Technology intern should be familiar with HTML and CSS programming, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience with Seasame database is also desired but not required.
- The Technology intern will have great communications skills, a strong attention to detail and a strong work ethic and a sense of humor.
